Feeling Tightness in Your Lower back? Try this stretch!

Standing Extension

The Setup:
Stand hips width distance apart, and place your hands on your lower back right above your tailbone for support.

The Movement:
Press your hips forward while keeping your spine aligned. Slowly bring your hips back in an upright position into standing, and repeat.

Remember! Hinge at your hips, not your spine to protect your lower back!

Give this exercise a try to help with lower back pain! This movement is a personal favorite of our owner, Dr.Stephanie, for lower back tension that comes on throughout the work day!
